Villa Palagi is a former farmhouse, which has been completely restored into a luxury vacation villa. The furnishing is light, bright and modern.

Villa Palagi is situated within an organic farm estate, set on a hill of Umbria on the border with Tuscany, and on the edge of the Monte Rufeno national park, the green heart of Italy.

From the Villa you have easy access to fascinating places of the area like Orvieto, Arrezzo, Assisi, Cetona, Montepulciano, Perugia, Siena and Spoleto as well as the lakes of Bolsena and Trasimeno.

The organic farm is home to rare breed cows and pigs and a small flock of sheep. It grows its own fruit and vegetables, produces olive oil, wine and even high quality saffron.

The whole area is a food lover’s paradise - Umbria is a home to the world famous salty Pecorino cheese and crisp dry Orvieto wine. Some of Italy’s finest wine areas are on the doorstep and there are many small family-run vineyards which welcome visitors.

A wide range of activities available allow you to appreciate the natural beauty of the estate and the magnificent views. These include visiting the organic farm, which promotes the breeding and rearing of indigenous breeds of animals, country walks within the estate and beyond, horse riding, and mountain biking.

The house has six en suite bedrooms and offers place for up to 12 persons. On the ground floor there is a sitting room, dining room, kitchen, a billard room and 2 bedrooms with double bed, each with bathroom with shower. On the first floor there are 4 bedrooms, 2 with double bed, 2 with with each 2 single bed, 2 with bathroom with shower, 2 with bathroom with bathtub.

Facilities in the house include wireless internet, flat screen TVs, DVD/CD, and an alarm system. There are large outdoor sitting areas with fantastic views towards Orvieto and to Tuscany.

All bedrooms have air condition.

There is a large swimming pool with traditional stone barbecue and pizza oven. The Villa has a beautiful terrace and a nice garden which is ideal for children.
